Whooped

Being an adult, you've been whooped when a child knows more than you on a topic. I often feel whooped after a long days work and I'm so exhausted that I go straight to bed. During a NBA game, a team knows its getting whooped when they can't even execute a simple pick and roll. The morning after a night of partying you may feel whooped. You know your whooped when you feel paralyzed after an extraneous workout. There are times when I noticed a person really worn and torn out in public, I figure life has really given them a whooping experience. You must be whooped when your son or daughter beats you playing your favorite sport. Its awful when a person walks up to you just to ask if everything is okay ,or that you don't look so good. My friend you have just encountered the whooped syndrome. You are definitely whooped when you constantly call the person your dating every five minutes inquiring their whereabouts. Pros:

Cons:

Likes and Dislikes

We all have our likes and dislikes. I like to sleep in on a rainy day. I dislike being cold after a warm, soothing shower. I rather enjoy a good movie with a close friend. I can't stand it when someone picks their nose , or spits in public. I love it when I have plenty of money to spend at the mall. I'm disappointed when others try to make you feel as if you aren't important. I like it when I look and feel great. I dislike how I feel before and after a tooth extraction. I enjoy traveling to a new place I have never been. I hate not being able to eat the foods that I crave due to health risk. I like to celebrate the holidays with someone special. What would life be like if we didn't have our differences? I guess its a good thing that we all have our likes and dislikes. Furthermore, I like going to a NBA basketball game, watching a live theatrical play, and being amazed by magic. However, I dislike bad hair days, traffic jams, and filthy public restrooms. Movin on Up

What comes to mind when you see the words movin on up? If you thought of the Jefferson's theme song, you are correct. However, these words can have several meanings to many people. For instance if your a child, the phrase may mean that you are moving on up the grading scale due to the fact you started paying attention in class and studying. At an amusement park, citizens enjoy the rollercoaster while ascending to the top of the ride. Millions of individuals earn a pay raise which makes them feel as if they are movin on up in society. Large crowds enter WalMart on a daily basis, just to end up in a long, exhuasting, time consuming line which eventually makes them feel all giddy inside just to see that they are moving on up toward the cashier. When you are able to afford a new car or home, others may say that you are Movin on Up. Toddlers often feel that they are moving on up after their parents stop buying diapers and buy them regular underwear. Once a person starts seeing their body change for the worst, they realize that they are moving on up in age. Furthermore, teenagers have the feeling that they are movin on up when they start to date or drive. The saying "Movin on Up" has been around for a long time. Name some other examples of this special expression.

Magic Dealers Description: One of the best sandwich-style effects on the market. Two cards are selected, one is signed and both are lost in the deck. Two jokers are shown and placed on the top of the deck. Without any funny moves the jokers are spread and the first card is sandwiched face-up between the jokers. The card is lost in the deck a second time and instantly jumps back to its place between the two jokers. Just as quickly the card between the two jokers changes into the signed selection.



My Experience:

This trick is an all out miracle. You will get great reactions. The gimmick is very common among magicians and once you know the secret you can cards other than the jokers. It does require some sleight of hand but nothing to difficult. Magic is supposed to be fun so come up with your own story and keep the spectators involved.

Pros: Great ending, Easy to do, Plays big packs small, Gimmick can stay in your deck at all times.

Cons: The results you get depend on your presentation. If you just open it up and only give it five minutes of practice then i would only expect that you will get bad reactions. All in all this is not a con of the effect but of the person who doesn't practice.

With a good patter this trick kills. One of the best sandwich of all time.

Magic Dealers Description: Two jokers both with a hole through the centre of them are passed out for examination. They are then placed to one side. It reappears in face up in the centre of the deck.

My Experience:

This is a great trick. It has many pros and cons.
Pros: Visually Stunning, Easy to do with practice, Great trick for the card trick expert to add to his repertoire

Cons: Is not suitable for walk around magic due to the fact the setup would take way to long.

If you are only going to perform this once a night this is a great trick. Once you own the gimmick you be able to make your own. They are very easy to make.

If you looking for an eye popping vanish that will fool anyone this trick is for you. I use this trick all the time just in moderation and at the right time.

You will not be mad you bought it.

Someday I will be a star. Someday I'll travel to all the places I've just dreamed about. Someday I'll stop drinking, smoking , and wasting precious time. This is a lie.

The raven is just another pull. We should not feel obligated to reinvent the wheel shall we. I mean this is 20 bucks down the drain.

This is only ideal for those who have large hands. I had no sucess because my hands were to small at the time of purchase.

Another problem is that it only works on metal items. You can not use most regular everyday items.

Fun

Exciting, entertaining, breathe taking, and unforgettable are all examples of the simple word fun. The word only has three letters. However, this small word has a gigantic meaning. It means a lot when you can say that you've had fun. Memories can last a lifetime. In the few instances where a person can be totally chaotic and free to just let go and enjoy the moment, is the most satisfying feeling one can have. If you haven't had fun in awhile, I would recommend that you think back to the last time you had fun. Once you remember this experience, try recapping it all over again.

Friday

We all know that Friday is one of the days of the week. However, Friday is special to just about everybody. If you are a child you may dislike Friday because that day is usually the day you take a spelling test or an exam. For the working class Friday is payday. Those who eat or dine out would think of the resturant TGI Fridays. For young adults Friday is club night. For people that rarely step outside thier house Friday is just another day. Becoming a Card Magician Part 2

Card tricks are made of two thing patter and slieght of hand. Sounds simple right. However, without a balance of both than your magic is transparent. Becoming a Card Magician

I started getting into magic last year. When I first started my tricks were amazing. However I was not skillful in sleight of hand. When getting into magic you do not want to get gimmick apparatus. You should stick with normal everyday objects. This allows for magic to be examinable it is also cost effective. Here is a list of things to get: playing cards, tape, sponge balls, and coins. Wrinkles

Wrinkles can be found in many places. After you wash a load of clothes, there are wrinkles within the fabric. You may want to buy a new set of curtains from a department store. You immediately notice that there are wrinkles in certain spots due to the fact that they were in the package too long. When a man gets his head shaved bald, you can see wrinkles on the back of his head. Pug dogs are known for the many wrinkles on their face. As I said wrinkles are everywhere. You can order a child to do something and see his face wrinkle at the thought of doing the task. No one likes to see wrinkles appear on their face because of old age. Just look out into the open shore you will believe you are seeing wrinkles in the waves. Wrinkles aren't a pleasant sight to see no matter where they appear. When have wrinkles popped up in your life?

What do you consider trash? Several people often talk a lot of trash when their upset with someone or something. The food that we eat can also be considered trash especially if it harms the body. You may even look like trash on a bad day. If you collect entirely too much stuff in your basement, people may believe that it is trash. When you break something that was brand new, it becomes trash. At times you may be in such a rush that you simply forget to take a bath, you will smell like trash. If you live in a bad neighborhood,  then your house may look like trash to a visitor. Overall, trash has several meanings to us all. What is your definition of trash?

Children

We were at one time all children. However, as years passed we blossomed into adults. As a teacher, I deal with children on a daily basis. If you are a parent, you are raising your child or children in your own way. No matter if you work with children or have children of your own, they are an important part of our lives. So, why are so many children growing up just to become a statistic? They are our future. Don't they realize this? What has happend to the youth? Do we cherish our most  precious gift? We all only have one life to live. We grow and change everyday. When will the cycle of failure stop? As a child grows into adulthood, what makes the choices that he takes? How can we help? What is missing from this equation?
